MDG/COA Question

In the two stories, i believe that the people only cared for themselves. To clarify, in The Most Dangerous Game, General Zaroff shows how he only cares for himself by hunting and killing people so he won`t get bored. To emphasize, he thinks killing people is just a game. Further more, Rainsford, the protagonist, in the beginning of the story he does not show any compassion for the feelings of the animals he hunts. Next, in the Cask of Amontillado, Montressor wants to get back at an old friend by killing him. These two stories prove that people only care for themselves.

These two stories show that people only care for themselves and I think that's what happens in life generally. First, because who has ever got into trouble and has never blamed it on a relative, a sibling, a friend, or even a stranger? To clarify, I think people rather look out for themselves and do them. The term "do you" is used often, I mean if you could get a lot of money easily your not going to ask someone to do it with you, you want the money to yourself so you`re "doing you." On the other hand there are some people that try to do good naturally but most people, I think, that rather care for thier own.
