Part 1: The part of the writing process that I find most difficult is the timed pre-writing stage. Pre-writing is difficult for me because I have so many ideas forming in my mind and not enough time to right everything down. When I do not write my ideas down, I end up forgetting them. I tend to write better without the brainstorming process with of the exception of the process my English teacher from eight grade taught me. So to conclude brainstorming is the hardest part of the brainstorming process for me.
Part 2: I believe in order to improve the pre-writing portion of the writing process, I will need to practice writing the brainstorming practice. In order to do this, I will practice by looking at a writing prompt and and time myself by writing my brainstorming ideas down as fast as I can. I believe this will help me improve the brainstorming processes.
