In my opinion people only care about themselves. In the story "The Most Dangerous Game." General Zaroff is a hunter and kills. He kills not only animals but humans. He has no care but for himself and not others. The other charachter was Rainsford, he also was a hunter until he met General Zaroff and general tried to kill Rains for by hunting, Now Rainsford understands what its like to be hunted. In the "Cask of amtialldo" In the book Fortunato was made fun of by another man and used it to kill him. We see how others put themselves ahead of one another.
Last year i got in trouble for getting out of my seat when not instructed.The reason i got out of my seat was that my friend was goofing around and tried to put pen on me. The teacher told me that i was going to receive a referral and a detention. When i tried to explain it was my fault she wasn't listening to me. My friend stood up and took the blame for me and explained to the teacher that it wasn't my fault and that he would get in trouble. In this situation my friend put himself in front of me and took the blame, he wast thinking about himself he was thinking about me.
